Chicago Connection

Ministry

In Chicago and her suburbs there is history and culture, hope and tragedy, passion for ministry and a penchant for sin. Trinity's campus is a short Metra ride from the city, a trip many students take to work with the poor, the rich, and the many internationals that live in the area. Chicago offers plenty of opportunities to work with the broken, hurting, and those who need reconciliation with God and others.

Churches

One of Trinity's Core Values is Church Connectedness. If you are moving to Deerfield for a program, it is important to find a church family for spiritual growth, mentoring, and minstry. Besides denominational connections you may already have, new students can take advantage of three Trinity resources:

  • Local Church Guide
  • Each Fall during New Student Orientation, Trinity sponsors a Church Fair during which forty to fifty churches send representatives to campus. Check the Orientation web site for details.
  • New students have often found current students to be the best resource for finding out about local churches. When you arrivie on campus, start asking around!
