    Lois C. Fleming, MA

    Lois Fleming is director of the School of Language, Literature, and Communication, associate professor of English, and chair of the English Department at Trinity International University's Trinity College.

     

    She came to Trinity in 1986 after holding other positions including director of marketing and assistant director of donor development for MAP International, instructor in cross-cultural communications for International Teams, and music critic for The Natal Mercury in Durban, South Africa.

     

    Professor Fleming earned the Master of Arts in communications at Wheaton College, the Master of Arts in musicology and the Bachelor of Arts in English and music at University of Natal in South Africa. Professor Fleming is a doctoral candidate in Rhetoric at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

     

    Professor Fleming's areas of expertise include communications, writing, hymnology and music. She is a frequent award-winner at an annual national counted cross-stitch show and directs Trinity's spring break tours to Europe.
