All student sessions are mandatory unless otherwise indicated.

All-Access Check-In* *Scheduled by first letter of last name Take care of several essential details: receive your Trinity ID card and technology and mail services information, select a meal plan, finalize payment of your bill, confirm immunizations, and register your vehicle. Along with that and more, staff will be available to talk with you about Work-Study jobs and answer financial aid and housing questions, as well as discuss Christian service, college activities, and leadership opportunities. In an effort to help everyone get through check-in in a timely manner, it is important that you come during your scheduled time slot. If you arrive on campus during or close to your check-in slot, please come directly to Check-In, after which time you may proceed to the Move-In at your residence hall. |
| 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. | Church Fair A.T. Olson Chapel Courtyard This is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet several pastors and church representatives from local churches in one place. The Church Fair is a good springboard for you in finding a church where you will be invested in and challenged in your faith. |
| 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. | Orientation Kick-Off A.T. Olson Chapel Enjoy a corporate welcome from Trinity administrators, faculty, and staff and get the lay of land for the next few days of Orientation. |
| 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. | Parent/Professor Reception Rodine Global Ministry Building Parents will have the opportunity to meet our Academic Deans and several professors over complimentary light snacks and beverages and hear from them about the academic life at Trinity and what makes it special. |
| 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. | Community Life Groups The Mansion Lawn It's important to get connected with other students. The building of community, of strong relationships, is of great importance to us as a university, and this value is expressed perhaps most fully in residence halls. Our Residence Life staff is skilled at bringing diverse people together and encouraging the creation of a formational experience through on-campus living. In this session, you will get together with your Resident Assistant and other new students from your floor. Commuter students will meet in groups with one another as well. |
| 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. | Family Barbeque Madsen/Johnson Courtyard Enjoy an end-of-summer barbeque with faculty, staff, student leaders, and other incoming students, and join in on some croquet, corn hole, horseshoes, volleyball, and more. |

| 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. | President’s Luncheon Lew Student Center This parents-only luncheon sponsored by Parent & Alumni Relations gives parents the opportunity to meet our president and other administrators and faculty, as well as to ask important questions about Trinity and the student (and parent) experience. |
| 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. | Community Life Groups Lunch Melton Dining Hall Connect again with other new students from your residence hall floor (or commuter group) over lunch. (New students on non-unlimited meal plans may use a "swipe" for siblings. For all others and those not on meal plans, you may purchase a buffet lunch for $7.00 at Melton.) |
| 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. | Dedication Service A.T. Olson Chapel The culmination of the parent and family portion of Orientation, this worship service has as its purpose the dedication of the entire class of incoming students to God and his purposes during their educational journey at Trinity. |
| 3:15 to 6:00 p.m. | Farewell to Families Various This unstructured time gives families a chance to share final goodbyes with their students. |
| 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. | Brother/Sister Floor Dinner Melton Dining Hall Meet over dinner with fellow incoming students from your floor and your brother/sister floor. (Commuters are welcome to participate.) |
| 7:30 p.m. — | Brother/Sister Floor Activity Various Locations Leave from Melton Dining Hall for a fun activity with others from your brother/sister floor, organized by your RA. (Commuters are welcome to participate.) |

| 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. | Transfer Student Meeting McLennan Academic Building, 152 All transfer students will meet with our Academic Dean for personalized academic planning assistance. |
| 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. | Charting Your Course McLennan Academic Building This session is an opportunity to meet with your School Director and Faculty Advisor to discuss your course of study and begin to map out your academic journey at Trinity. Those who need to finalize semester course selection will be able to do so with their advisors at this time. |
| 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. | Lunch with Professors Melton Dining Hall Get to know your professors in an informal setting over lunch. |
| 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. | Late Registration (if necessary) McLennan Computer Lab Those who have not finalized semester course registration will need to do so at this time. Our Academic Dean and Associate Registrar will be on hand for assistance. |
| 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. | Store Shuttles (optional) Meet at McLennan Entrance Free shuttles will be on hand to take you to Wal-Mart or Target for any last-minute shopping you may need to do. |
| 6:00 p.m. — | Grill-Out & Games Lew Student Center Lawn Join student leaders and staff for a cookout and yard games team-competition style. |
