Campus Life
Will I Fit In?
There's no doubt that the idea of living in a new place with new people can be intimidating. At Trinity, you have the chance to meet students from many different backgrounds and learn from their life experience. "But how do I meet them?" you may ask. No worries. There are tons of activities and outings planned by College Union each semester that you can participate in. With the late night talks in the dorm rooms, community in the classrooms, the annual Junior/Senior Ball, ice skating in Millennium Park, eating deep-dish pizza at Gino's East, shopping on Michigan Avenue, or hanging out on campus at a Johnson Hall Coffeehouse or Trinity Artist Night, you'll quickly find that meeting new people will be easier than you thought.
Making the Adjustment
Our New Student Orientation, combined with a six-week small group program, will help ensure a smooth adjustment. During New Student Orientation, you and your parents will learn about campus and residence life activities, student ministry opportunities, and academic life. Adjustment difficulties are eased through a six-week small group program called the Trinity Experience. Together with your small group, you will discuss everything-roommates, relationships, study habits, money matters, your relationship with Christ, and campus life.
