Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts in Bioethics Dual Degree
Interested in "hot-button" issues like stem cell research, cloning, euthanasia, and abortion? Maybe you want to prepare to make your voice heard on these issues in the worlds of public policy, law, the media, or medicine. Trinity is one of the few Christian universities in the world to offer a bioethics program, and through our Dual Degree Program, you can earn a Master of Arts in Bioethics while you complete your Bachelor of Arts. This degree is offered through Trinity Graduate School and grants students affiliated status with The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity, located on Trinity's campus. Accelerated Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts (Intercultural Studies)
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Trinity College offer a unique opportunity for qualified Trinity students who have demonstrated a heart for missions and desire to pursue intercultural studies. The Accelerated Degree Program is open to any student pursuing a bachelor degree and is particularly appealing to current students in the Christian Ministries/Intercultural Emphasis or Intercultural Studies minor, as well as to those who are thinking in terms of social issues, MK or expatriate education, tent-making and micro-enterprise. It also has the tremendous advantage of saving a semester’s tuition cost.
An undergraduate student may earn a graduate degree in Intercultural Studies as early as the fall following the senior year by taking graduate-level courses beginning the junior year. Nine hours of course work from the MA/ICS meets the requirements for the BA. In this manner, the program accelerates the BA and MA/ICS. These 9 overlapping graduate hours are taken as part of the undergraduate load, resulting in a savings of graduate tuition and an enrichment of the student’s educational experience.
Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts (Communication & Culture)
The Master of Arts in Communication and Culture degree will equip you to trace the contours of contemporary culture, interpret its movements and messages, and engage its challenges from a Christian worldview. Our graduates have launched entrepreneurial ventures, designed projects to address poverty, developed material to raise awareness of human trafficking, researched religious movements, continued to doctoral studies. They are entrepreneurs and business people, youth pastors, outreach directors, community workers and doctoral students.
Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts in Teaching
If you know you want to make a difference in the lives of students and want to get a jumpstart on becoming a teacher, the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Teaching dual degree program may be just what you're looking for. Today's schools are hungry for highly qualified teachers and in many cases expect teaching candidates to have a Master's degree. With the MA/T dual degree students can cut their time in school by up to one year and even start working full time after earning their Bachelor's. The program currently offers secondary education options in: Biology, History, Mathematics and English.
